Just reached 600 miles on my 2022 Euro 5 Speedmaster Gold Line edition and now its ready for its first service. Bearing in mind its the new Euro 5 model which dealers say the exhaust can't be changed, I just wanted to get some thoughts on this, and also if there are any good after market exhaust options available for this model?
First off, check under the bike where the cat exits to the resr exhausts. If there is a clamp holing the rear pipe to the cat exit then you can swap out the oem pipes for whatever fits that takes your fancy. If on the other hand the rear pipes are welded to the cat then your opitions are a bit more limited as you need to seap the cat out woth an xpipe, obtain the clamps then fit whatever ..... My 2021 Speedmaster has clamps so ive experimented with both xpipe and hitchcox short drag pipes. Too loud by far so the cat went back it. Love the look of the drag pipes tho...
