I wanted to fit TEC emulators to the prog springs on my 2021 T100 to improve damping response, TEC tell there is no point because the existing cartridge fitted the bike will perform the same.
I cant find any mention anywhere that there is a cartridge in the damping piston of a T100 Bonne. nothing on the parts catalogue or parts breakdown, other than the damping piston.
can anyone confirm or state one way or the other?

What do you want to achieve , additional spacers , additional length will improve/stop front end dive . Stiffening up Springs.

I had a 2019/20 Street Scrambler with cartridge fork upgrade over the earlier models and the TEC emulators were not listed for it as they were not required. The cartridge is in the RH fork leg only. Your T100 could possibly have a similar cartridge fork? If it has, the top cap will be screwed into the damping rod in the RH fork leg. I fitted the progressive fork springs which were a worthwile mod.

T100 EFI Fork diagram showing catridge (as per @Pegscraper). I had the same for Bonneville Speedmaster.

I have emulators in my 2008 America.
They work much better than the Standard Originals. I went for much heavier weight Springs. As I did this modification for the purpose of Towing , also went for 10mm longer and much stiffer springs on rear shocks
