Having a challenge finding a YTX14BS battery that will actually fit in the bike. The space is only 4.5" tall as the battery is laying on its side however every battery I have purchased is 5.75" inches. Has anyone on here had this issue? I will be checking in with the dealership down in Las Vegas tomorrow. Thanks in advance for any help.
Same position and battery reference on ST1050. You won't find the ref with a smaller size. You need to lift the tank to fit the battery in. That's also the case on my ST1050
yes I have removed the battery and tried to install the new battery with the tank lifted and it will not fit in the space. Thanks for the feed back. Appreciate you.
Ok so I contacted the dealership in Vegas and on the 2019 Speed Triple RS the battery is a YTX9-BS. I believe the early models had the YTX14. just sharing in case anyone else runs into this issue. Ride On!
