2019 Speed Triple Mirrors

Sorry I am quite late to the party but I recently bought a 2019 Speed Triple with 500 km on it. I have many questions but I will attack it all slowly.

I've been buying some carbon bits and pieces, a Oberon fuel cap I now hate (just does not sit straight), and the bike came with lots of addons already.

So I wanted to replace my large Triumph mirrors with likely Rizoma Bar End mirrors. The problem I have is how do I remove the insert that triumph has in the handle bar for their mirrors? I read a few things that sounded somewhat ridiculous like glue a bolt in and remove it by screwing it out? Something like that. I may want to re-use them down the road.

Does anyone know exactly how to get those inserts out and keep them to reuse?

Unfortunately I tried that and it did not even budge. I think it is threaded in there but hoping someone can confirm.

 

It isn't quite that simple as the Rizoma bar ends will not sit over the triumph inserts. Those inserts would need to come out. I may just go with the CRG Bar end or the Motogadget as they look like they would slip right on. Those Rizomas are nice but the prices are getting crazy.
