Still working with 2 dealers on a 2018 & 2019 in Competition Green Bonnie T120. One dealer made me a great deal on a leftover 2017 Cinder Red T120 Bonnie that has a fly screen & saddlebags already. Are there any differences between a 2017, 2018, 2019 Bonneville T120? Any issues to look out for with the 2017 such as recalls or service bulletins? Thanks in advance!
Thanks. I haven't read about anything new for the 2019 models. Triumph appears to have concentrated on the new Bonnie models - Speed Twin Street Twin, Scrambler, leaving only the Ace and Diamond Editions to update the T120.
At some point the down pipe outer skins were extended to remove the gap where the silencers clamp onto the down pipes. My 2017 registered 2018 does not have this gap although I’ve seen a 2017 model with it but that could have been old 2016 stock.
After riding the T120, with dual disc front brakes, I am sold on the T120. Commuting in Washington, DC area traffic, the extra power and brakes is a must. Since this is an additional bike for me, I'm holding off a few more weeks to see if Triumph comes up for any deals on leftover 2018 models and pay off the new kitchen appliances we just purchased.
I was wondering if Triumph would have any new deals on leftover T120. Seems like it's time for Triumph to come out with a new promotion
Amen! I will be checking their webpage for new deals since the previous cash/finance ended on Dec 31. I'm still a few weeks away as I want to pay off the new kitchen appliances we just had installed.
My dealer had a few changes last night . 1.99% APR for 48 Months or 3.99% for 60 Months on 2018 T100 , T120 , Street Twin . Is this as good as it gets ?
There were better deals at the end of the year. There are still a lot of 2018s, so I'm willing to wait to see if they offer better in the upcoming weeks. Got to think that they want to make room for the new 2019s coming out.
I Think the 2018s started using the rubber damper under the front disks the help with the squealing that a lot of folks, including me, experienced. I solved it with floating rotors on my 17. If you’re commuting in DC area you’ll want quiet brakes!
Decision made. 2018 Competition Green Bonneville T120 from MC of Dulles. Going Saturday to sign papers and pick it up, unless the snow comes.
All I can say is..loving my T120 black and tried the T100 at same time...it’s all very personal..enjoy
