Hi tig, yeah the morini is a great wee bike.I love that you are very unlikely to see another if your out for a run.i swopped over to slightly raised bars due to ongoing back problems so it’s pretty comfortable now ,but only comes out to get polished and a run round the local country roads . All the fasteners etc full exhaust have been changed to stainless
Pedro will you please stop posting pictures of your bike porn Is the left side panel not fitted correctly, just looking at the gold and black coach lines
Lol yip those Italians obviously never went to specsavers. Side panel is on with new rubbers and fits straight and secure,,the coachlines wonky
No,I was asked to exhibit it but I was suffering badly with back pain for a couple of months early in the year & also the roads were wet
Good luck with the sale! I bought a Morini just before lockdown, have done a bit more to it than originally intended but it still looks like the used bike it is
Looks good,,how are you enjoying it? Is it your 1st morini .I’m not actually that fussed if the triple sells,I’m on a limited mileage insurance policy and can do 1000miles a year. With the 3 bikes and only using the bikes on sunny days, when I’m not babysitting the grandkids it’s going to waste.if it doesn’t sell this year it can go into storage in the autumn & hopefully I can get my back in better shape for next year
It is my first, I'm enjoying working on it but having some frustration getting it to run right so haven't ridden far! I am arriving at the conclusion one of the transducers is on the way out but working through everything...... When I managed to get it running better (for about 20 miles!) it was lovely to ride. The Morini forum is very helpful so hopeful I'll get it sorted soon. Your Speed looks great, enjoy it while you have it when your back permits - I can recommend Pilates to get things moving better! I've often thought about buying a Speed Triple, looked at 955s, early 1050s, later models, etc etc. but never quite got there. I think the lower price of the 2 Daytonas and the 1050 Sprint I bought instead shaded it for me! I should have bought one, I suspect I won't own one now as I'm definitely enjoying lighter bikes more these days and thinking of swapping my current Daytona for something else.......
So it sold! Good for you, a lovely bike, I should buy one while I can get on it otherwise I'll regret it....... Must check the lottery results!
Cheers Andy,,I thought for a minute it was you who had bought it,,Andy from Cambridge travelled up lastnight and loaded it up this morning.Easy sale,no haggling and everyone happy ,he already has a speed triple and also a street.I love it when a bike goes to someone who knows a good un when he sees it.Good luck with that lottery,,I might just get a chance to use the morini now,,
