Hi, as a relative newbie to the wonderful world of motorbikes, I thought I would ask the wise and more experienced out there, wether bargain are available on gear at the show or is it just about looking at bikes and girlies? If there are any bargains, I will save my pennies until the show, if not I am off on a shopping spree ASAP, so feedback appreciated from those in the know!
Cheers, thought that might be the case so will carry on internet shopping for now, to at least get the prices, before going to the show.
Definately you can get bargains, very hard to find as has been said too many Sunday market type traders there. Look in the likes of MCN for those traders that are going as they quite often advertise their show bargins
As above. Look out for traders at the show selling off old stock which can get you a great deal. My AStar leathers were a discontinued line and were a good 200 sheets cheaper than their almost identical replacements. Don't expect much of this though if you plan to go on one of the last few days...
As DD says but the reputable ones are getting very, very few and far between these days.. It's the same old dealers trying to sell the same old stock.. I'd do some research on what you want to buy and find the best price online.
Yep I think I will stick to online as just looked at list of retailers and to be fair quite a few I would normally use not there.
Last year J & S Accessories had a sale on everything in their stores for the duration of the show because they weren't there. Worth looking out for.
Thanks and would go along for a look but need to go somewhere with better wife this weekend and it’s compulsory, not that I am under the thumb or anything like that!!!!!!!
Blimey you're lucky, I'm stuck with only one wife, but if I had 2 would she be the better one or not??
That should have said better half, not wife and I can assure all of you that I could only cope with one!!!
As I once said to my lovely wife of 34 years....I have my faults...Being wrong isnt one of them..... The bruises have gone now & apart from all those flashbacks, I`m fine, honestly I am
Hi Watty2016. Personally if you are looking at crash helmets, check the manufacturing date sometimes found inside the lid if you can after all you don`t want to buy a lid that`s already 10 years old now do you....... And yes it is all about bikes & GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS !!!
