2016 Thruxton 865 Tyre pressure

    Hello every one please could some one help. i would like to get a better understanding of what Tyre pressure for my thruxton 865 should have front and rear.

    i am currently running on:
    41 rear
    33 front

    I ride long distances with a pillion what do you suggest any advice is a great help thank you

    That sounds like the right pressures for the use, to me.

    that's what I ride mine at solo although the manual says 33 front and 38 rear solo and 38 and 38 fully laden but I never got on with those

    I beleive there's an error in mine as I would beleive you'd up the rear pressure for 2 up riding not the front!!

    You would up the pressure in both tyre's, but more so the rear ! I have had 4 triumphs from new and found the manuals give a good base figure for tyre pressures if you are going to plod along, anything more spirited needs a few more psi, I run about 2psi more than std solo and 4/5 psi more in rear two up! Put 41/43 in the rear if towing two up. That's 9/10 psi above recommended in owners manual, put 36psi in the front when towing, I must be doing it close to right as I haven't fallen off or had tyre's fail yet. LOL.
