2016 Speed Twin R Ohlins Front End

    could any R owner (2016) Ohlin's forks measure the distance in-between the discs' outside to outside, I'm fitting a R front end to my Speed Twin, and it would appear that the Speed Twin has a slightly wider front end.

    This not allowing me to mount the R Brembo callipers correctly

    Yes, disc mounts more directly to the wheel on the S3R, I'll go measure....

    Col, thanks for that, mattP also replied with the same measurement, "Measure Twice Cut Once" still rings true all these years after my apprenticeship

    Col I am going to look at taking 7mm of each side of my wheel , that is off the disc mounts hopefully

    Have you got to skim the wheel hub? (going to need a lathe with a big throw - or get wheel horizontal on a mill?).

    The company i work for (30 years) use a local firm for all our machined/engineered components, he likes motorbikes so i will ask the question

    Dear all.
    i have a set of 2019 speed twin wheels/tyres of a 600 mile bike, also the rear shocks and front forks the yokes and the callipers and discs all off a 2019 Speed Twin with 600 miles from new, i will post some photos this weekend, I'm open to offers as i need the room in the cave. please message offers for anything I've listed. Please don't try and take the piss.

    Dilli don't take the piss out of the 4" & 9" grinder, commonly known within on site engineering services as "A precision Altification correctional adjustable milling machine".
