    Hi All,

I've decided that my Leo Vince low-boy just doesn't do it for me and I quite like high level cans... So I'm looking at second hand eBay jobbers.

Question is, some seem to say that the Arrow cans will fit from 2011 onwards, others say that the 2016-2017 have specific cans.

Can (no pun intended) anyone shed any light?

Hi Trash, I’m fairly sure I’ve read on here that 2011 to 2015 exhausts are the same but the lower mounting point and maybe collector pipe length changed for 2016.

Hi, I have 2011-2015 arrows on my speed triple, so they will fit. The 2016-2017 arrows will have a non removable baffle.

Now sure if there are different versions then, mine had a removable baffle (noise killer).
The new ones 2018> don't have it tho.

Why don't you try and chase up an arrow lowboy system 3-1, gives you a bit of more performance too and looks great?
A bit trickier to install but worth it IMHO.

Saying that tho....the bike I have might have had the 2011-2015 installed, it also came with a 2-1 pipe.
Was installed by the dealer, so I am guessing it was a 2016 version, but can't say for sure...

As per the original post, I have a low boy and don't like the look of it... Hence looking for a high level system.
The only other route I would consider is an Austin Racing can

Ok, then go for something like this.

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pair-Sil...MIia-Pk-rw7wIVCtUYCh1R7AKxEAQYAiABEgK2ivD_BwE

This is exactly what I had. This pair is quite expensive though, I wouldn't pay more than 300ish.
Baffle can be removed on these.

    or

    https://www.ebay.es/itm/TRIUMPH-SPE...962317?hash=item2f52f0988d:g:O1cAAOSwxTxgCXVP

    Brand spanking new.

Or even cheaper but a bit further away...(plus VAT and customs fee)

Cheers for the heads up Hans... Definitely not looking to spend £700 on them though, for that amount I would 100% go Austin Racing. Guess I'll just have to keep an eye out for second hand ones.

Or get a part time job, you know get some mates involved... We could be Men With Ven

    You're welcome.
On my old 2013 I went for a pair of second hand SC-Project cans. Decent fit, quite light and looked good.
But, If you have a tailtidy such as the R&G one, you will need to buy an extra piece of kit to be able to fit the indicators or make some solution yourself.
That goes for the arrow cans too.

And the R&G solution does look and feels a bit naff to be honest...

Did you see the 420 dollar kit from the US? Check if you need to pay vat and other fees, could be an option.

Edit: $420 is roughly £300, add another 15% vat and 4% duty and its actually not a bad deal....around £360 for a new set of cans.

    :joy:

A mixture of own experience (have Arrows on my 2015 Speed94R) and what's been said elsewhere on this forum, I'm fairly sure the link pipe differs from 2016 on (manifold length different etc). I think all the high level twin Arrow cans are interchangeable although the method of securing the baffle changed with year and country sold.
Don't forget buying from EU you might get hit with VAT and customs depending whether it's been payed at source, feature in MCN made it sound like a bit of a minefield now, not sure if it applies to second hand ebay sales?
    https://www.motorcyclenews.com/news/biking-after-brexit/#kit bargains

    Edit:
Correction, even the end cans may not be interchangeable as it looks like they now use a clamp (and an additional carbon fibre shield), the earlier ones are just slip on being a very good fit on the link pipe.
Photos of mine before fitting below may help in your ebay searching.

They are off a brand new speed triple 1050 rs just picked it up at the weekend but it's a 2020 model so DEFINITELY fits 18 to 20 rs but sure they will fit other years, not much has changed in the exhaust department

So essentially you might as well be replying to this thread offering to sell a sausage... Because either way it won't fit

They’d be well cooked though. I love sausages.

And if you know about the speed triple you would know the RS was only made from 18 to 20 which I stated they are off

    Alright calm down princess!

This is a thread where I've been looking for advice on a set of cans for a 2016 bike, you come steaming in trying to sell your cans from a bike that won't be compatible with mine and get offended by a bit of sarcasm!?

    Jeeeze
