I just purchased a 2016 Street Triple R. I know that Triumph has told owners of this bike that the rear suspension preload is set at the factory and cannot be adjusted. I suspect that the previous owner did in fact change the preload setting. I would like to return the preload back to the original factory setting but there is nothing in the users manual and Triumph dealers will not provide assistance. For any owners of 675 R's with the rear preload in the stock factory setting, would you please tell me how many threads are visible (# of threads or total measurement is fine) above the locking collar on the rear shock. Should probably be the same for all R's for 2014-2016, but please also tell me what year you have. Thanks in advance for your help.
