After a small off in November, my brake lever was damaged.

I have now recovered from the broken thumb and have some Evotech levers arriving tomorrow.

Any tips and tricks for the replacement? I am not an expert mechanic and I am sure people will say get an expert is the best advice. They might be right but I want to learn and do this myself.

    Thanks in advance.

It really is very simple, here are the instructions for fitting the Triumph levers which wiil be the same for any make of levers: https://www.triumphinstructions.com/ProdDocs/A9620062-EN.pdf

If you don't have a torque wrench then just be aware that 3.5nm is very little torque, so just finger tight plus a quarter to half turn would suffice, and 12nm is also not a lot so don't be heavy handed with the spanners.

Spot on advice there. Just put a smear of grease on the new lever around the screw location and the area around there.
    Regards
    Joe.
