    Hello everyone

I own a 2014 Street Triple R. I have a SC project slip on and running Triumph air filter. I am planning to take the bike to T3 Racing for a ECU Custom map. I spoke to them and they said that mine should be fine (but they cannot confirm until they hook it up). However 2015+ models ECU are locked.

Is there a way to find out whether my ECU can be accessed prior to making the journey.

Has anyone done this and if yes, what were you thoughts? I am looking for smooth throttle better throttle response and to ensure AFR is all correct.

    Thank you all in advance

    Kind regards

Best bet is get the tuneecu programme on your pc and an obd2 -usb cable or if you have an android phone do the Sam but get a Bluetooth obd2
Then see if you can read the ecu, or phone a friend who might have one!

Got my 675 done at Hilltop, much better throttle response which is really accurate now and mega boost in low down torque

^^ Had a chat with Hilltop and they can flash the ECU. The cost including VAT is £360. I think I will wait a while as I have a trip to the MCT Suspension in a few days ;)

Unless you are really heavy the sport settings on the 675 are pretty good suspension wise.

I weigh around 11.5 stone with gear. The handling is perfect on good tarmac but once you hit the rough patch, I am thrown around everywhere. Had it properly set-up by professional but was told to find someone who could change the springs and do a re-valve job to make it much more compliant.

My experience is you can't have it both ways.

I hear what you are saying. I am just trying to find the balance. I have been contemplating on this thinking should I or Should I NOT!!!!!

Its not exactly cheap as this is going to cost around £340

I am looking for something along......flying through a corner....hit a bump and the bike absorbs it rather than jump and change the entire line :(

Or put some weight on ;)
    I had a 2013 Street R.
That used to be no problem on bumps, in fact I was very impressed with how it soaked them up for a light bike, but I was about 14-15 stone at the time.

Best thing is what you're doing and getting it set up with the right springs etc for your weight.

^^^^ I should have Eric. As soon as I bought the bike I had it professionally set up. The handling is superb on smooth roads through the back roads. But it's a horrible story on a not so good roads. You know one of the main reason I stepped down from 1000cc''s is because of my lower back issue and I needed something light but fast enough for the kind of riding I do. Everything is spot on with the 675R bar the hard suspension. It really hurts my back when I get thrown around
