2014 865 Efi America Key Question

Hi all.
I have done a search but I can't seem to find the info. I have a spare Triumph blank ignition key that needs cutting but does it need programming at all? My bike is a 2014 America. UK spec.

May be wrong but i don't think it needs to have programming. Joe
