My 2012 Tiger 800 roadie with 59,000 miles has developed an intermittent issue I would love any advice on. It seems to happen mostly when I begin a ride (something warming up?) and mostly as I start off in first gear. I hear a clunk sound and feel what I would call a slippage. It only seems to happen under this scenario. I'm not sure where to start. For the most part once I've ridden a while it doesn't happen again.
Chain and sprocket were replaced in 2024. Clutch?

    Thanks much! Ron

@Ron DD Yes i would check the clutch friction plates. Sure some of the wise ones will chip in soon as they are smarter than i. The other bit to check is the cable it is free flowing.

Agree with above ref clutch, and it's not about when sprockets and chain replaced it's the mileage and maintenance that matters.
