    Good Evening guys,

Hoping I can find someone who can instantly give me a hint/tip to lead me down the rabbit hole which is electrical issues on these bikes!

I bought the bike with only 6000km on it and had been sat in a well ventilated barn for years. I did a full maintenance on it from Oil to Coolant etc. I tried charging the old battery but it was having issues so I simply replaced it. The bike ran maybe 3-4 times just up and down a long driveway (Couldn't insure it due to waiting for licenses here in Canada). Was a little slow on starting up cold after the pre-start but it ran. Then suddenly what would happen is it would load the dash, everything would prime. I use the clutch and ignition and it would just *CLICK*. The Low oil pressure warning light was just sitting amber and upon pressing the ignition the High coolant temperature warning light just just click on and the dash did nothing.

To my knowledge I assumed this was just a stator issue so I've now replaced it and when I go to start it today it now instead of just clicks it tries to turn over just one turn then *CLICK* same lights.

I've had the battery off and charged it, the fuses all look fine. The concern I have now is that I "think" its a grounding fault. Due to the fact that if everything is normal when I turn the key to do the pre-start up, with a multimeter on the battery it goes from 12.4 down none stop... I left it for a good minute today and it went down past 8. Meaning it'll never start due to the lack of juice in the battery.

Is this now a faulty battery or should I start chasing electrical gremlins? And how? Should I attempt to push start it to remove start up as the issue and isolate it to an electrical fault?
