Took air filter out to check it, bike has 7,000 miles on it and it looks quite dirty. Is it worth the extra cost of going with a K&N or just replace with a paper element? Bike already has Arrow 3 into 1 low boy and map fitted from new.
Unless you get it remapped on a dyno I'd say you won't feel the difference. So it's then down to the cost/convenience of replacing paper filter verses cleaning and re-oiling a "performance" filter. Also it's another thing you need to declare to your insurance (although most seem to be more relaxed about the more common modifications now).
