2012 R Rear Brake Leaver

have problem with the location of the rear brake leaver, in my normal riding position it’s too far inboard and rearly have to turn my foot in to reach it. I isn’t directly below my foot like it has been on other bikes I’ve owned, not sure if it’s the tank is very wine and that pushes my knees out which then brings my foot out too, result is I just don’t use it.
Any options other than trying rearsets, need to resolve it as it’s not the best way to ride!
