2012 R Handlebar Angle/sweep

Hi All
Got my 2012 R last summer and really like it.
But I've noticed that I find the handlebar angles or sweep very uncomfortable.
Can't really put my finger on the exact problem. it just causes discomfort in my wrists.
Been riding bikes my whole life and not really experienced this before.
Also ride mountain bikes and no similar problems.

Any suggested solutions on new bars etc welcomed.

One idea would be to compare other bars like Rizoma or Renthal. I changed the bars on my bike for the same reason. I went for 20mm higher Rizoma fat bars and it cured the problem.

I have the 50mm bars

 

I put risers on mine and it solved the wrist discomfort. Higher or bars or risers should do it.
