Welcome Dave, TuneECU will do this (and a lot more besides). I haven't actually checked it out myself yet to see if that particular function works but should be no problem. TuneECU can be loaded (free) to laptops or phones and connected via cable or bluetooth to the OBD port under the seat. However last time I checked the service indicator function is only available if you load the app on to an Android phone and connect via bluetooth. So provided you have an Android phone you will then just need an OBD2 bluetooth adaptor to plug into the bike (about £10). I've used this one but others are available. For more info on TuneECU just search this forum and others, there's plenty of info on the app and its capabilities out there.
I use the Android app and it's very simple to use.... Not used the service reset function yet though as my bike isn't due yet ha ha
No mate only PC and Android... You have the same bike as me and I'm sure PC version works for ours with a cable....
I have it on both pc and android... know you can't reset it via pc but can't find anything to reset it via Android either while using my longlec cable? Do I get more options via Bluetooth?
Carter ^^^ As I say haven't tried myself yet, but apparently yes. Also can now open the ABS valves for bleeding! See screen grab below at web page here
Well.... i can confirm that the service light can be reset via the android app for tuneecu as long as you have a Bluetooth obd2 elm. Chuffed as it was really bugging me lol
I use a DealerTool. They are limited to what you can do. You can sort the service indicator, ABS bleeding, Balance Throttle Bodies and other minor things.
Does anyone know if Dealer tool can access the ECU on Speed Triple 2016? TuneECU can't but just wondering if DT can
I was unsure myself, even heard that you can't plug anything into the ecu without damaging it. But can confirm dealer tool will work with a 2016 speed triple, see video.
It might be best to contact them directly just to be certain.........https://dealertoolcouk.ipage.com/interest2.htm They are very quick in responding. All the best
