I've just bought a slightly damaged Bonnie and intend to turn it in to a street scrambler type thing. It has 17" alloys fitted and I want to swap for spoked wheels. Does anyone know if it's a straight swap inc brakes or will bare spoked wheels swap over. As a matter of interest if anyone near Northants has a loose pair to compare or would like to fit alloys please let me know and possibly we could swap??
I've a similar idea as I've got cast wheels and want tubeless laced ones in 17" not the usual 18". The cheapest way for me is to build them using America hubs with matching discs and re-rimming them onto something nice. And No I don't live near you sorry. Eric
Hi...see it was a while ago you posted about the spoked wheels but I was wondering how you got on....I'm interested in the same thing wanting to use trail tires...would appreciate any info.. Many thanks roger
