hi everyone. really need your help on my engine. It started out as a small, very faint rattle coming from the engine. as I was heading home it was getting louder and louder then all of a sudden it was like a woodpecker on speed. the rattle sounds like something as given way inside. managed to get the bike home. it gets louder with the throttle and with the clutch in it gets quieter?????? I hope I don't need a new engine. has anyone experienced this before......
all the gears worked as they should. I crawled back at 30mhp...I didn't wanted anything busting through the block lol
As Jack says this does sound like a clutch problem, broken spring or something similar. What’s your mechanical aptitude like sunny?
had my bike mechanic call over today. he's confirmed it the main bearing have turned and fucked. metal flakes and shavings are in the oil. so basically I need a new engine
I'm gutted. i bought this bike before i passed my test so i can make it my own before hand. full respray etc.... passed my test 2 weeks ago and on the first official ride out it goes bang
