I just purchased my first Triumph. A 2003 Speedmaster.
My plan is to change the oil, replace brake fluid, replace brake pads, hook up a battery tender, fill tank, add stabilizer, and pray for an early spring!
Any suggestions on anything else I can do for maintenance and or winterizing?
    Thanks

Welcome to the family. Nice bike the speedmaster. Do hit the upload a file button bottom right corner and show the inmates the steed. Here in the asylum we like pictures easier to read. And nursey loves it as she gets an easy round doing the meds. As for a stand just try and find a centre stand on ebay or gumtree. Could try new Bonneville or sprint manufacturing, Triumphant or triumph spares.
    Regards & Ride Safe.
    Joe.

    Joe,
Thanks. She's been really well cared for by her previous owners. Rode her 140 miles home after purchasing her and fell in love.
I normally look forward to the first heavy snow and then hope for a nice cold long winter. My boys and dog love the snow. For the first time in a long time I find myself thinking about spring prior to winter even getting going.

Great. I don't let the weather get in the way. Just take about five six pound of pressure out of the tyres and keep going. Not on my Bonnie's. I use the old honda I have if it gets damaged well it's a couple of hundred pounds lost.
    Regards
    Joe.

Chain Wax. I heard its better than lube spray. Stays on better with out spraying all over the tires. Good luck and enjoy
