Hi I am new to this forum - I think I am in the correct place for this question - if I am great I expect this will not be the last question - if I am in the wrong place please let me know

    1. I will have an 18" front wheel with the standard 285mm single disc on this project - the standard 2 pot calliper I wish to replace with a four pot - does anyone know if there is a simple bolt on four pot from a later machine or alternative.

    many thanks

    MIke

Hi Mike, well I am not sure about your machine but the early Trophy had two pot calipers and a lot of the the owners changed this for a larger disk and four pot calipers as you are using two pot calipers this mod might work for you ?

Hi Mike, well I assume it is the update brakes for the Trophy possibly 1994 on and possibly other Triumphs, I know this because yesterday I ordered some brake pads from my Triumph Dealer for my 1992 Trophy and he asked if I had the two pot or the four pot calipers with the larger disks and said a lot of people had up dated the older Trophys, best I can do I am afraid, but I am sure the Dealer would know, it was jack Lilley I got my pads from, I am sure they could help as they seem to know all about it.
