2000 Rs

    5 years ago I bought a 2000 RS sprint. It was supposedly running but when it was brought to me it didn't have a starter on it or key fob. When I finally got those items and put it on the bike I found out there was actual house key, yes a house key in the third cylinder. So I bought a new head for it, didn't know I had to have the cam caps with it. So I bought another head, and had stuck valves and broke it trying to unstick them. So I bought another head put it on there had it all beautiful started it ran great revved it up. Oops forgot to tighten the tensioner. So I bought another head and finally got it right. I replaced everything in the clutch system. Redid the brakes. Got a lot of time into this damn thing. Wiring harness was kind of tore up so I just recently got a wiring harness. And I'm a little stuck on a couple issues.

    Coming off the left handlebar and there's a notorious two into one black and yellow wire that gets corroded and therefore the bike doesn't start. After it "y" where does it go? What pin on the connector?

    #2. Down by the alternator I got a plug that looks like a t and a connection for a circular ring with a boot on top of it. Problem is I got two pairs of these. I'm not sure which one goes on there and have no clue where the other set would go.

    #3. The handlebar plug-ins are the same plugs basically. If I plug them in one way, I have lights but no digital readout on my gauge. If I plug it in the other way I don't have any lights but I have a digital readout on my gauge. I'm lost on that one.
