    So......
I'm not very mechanical, don't normally go anywhere near my bike with a spanner, usually leave it to someone who won't screw it up.
However, it was mot time and one headlight was out, I have done this before so decided to save a couple of quid and do it myself.
Apart from the usual light and indicator cables there are 2 small gauge cables that are soldered to the cockpit fairing. They have connectors near the frame, so as before, disconnected these and carried on my business.
While putting it back together I had some issues with rounded nuts and in the process managed to break the solder joints. I don't have a solder gun and didn't know which cable went to witch Post so I taped them up and put it back together.
Everything worked as it should and the mechanic at my local workshop had no idea what they might be and said that Triumph wouldn't have used a solder joint so are probably something retro fitted.
Does anyone have an idea what they could be for ??
