Somewhat of a ...technical question, Has anyone had the need to helicoil the rockerbox 1/4 inch threads that are in the head? I've got a kit to put some fresh 1/4 inch helicoils in all 4 damaged holes, but is there "room" to upgrade'em to 5/16 threads? I recall my 70s' model t100c had the same issue that I had to deal with. Is it practical to bore the box holes out & install 5/16 helicoils in the head?

Yup, that was my concern, plus, the last 1/4 inch threads worked out just fine so I'll stay with it. Thanks Drkmn.
