Hello. I am Mike from Texas. I have a 1961 T100 frame and front end. Obvious issues finding parts. Does the newer (2000+) T100 motors have the same mounting bolts? I can find these motors everywhere.

    thanks for any input!!

    Errrrr........ No!

The later motors (nineties onwards) bear absolutely no relationship to the Meriden products.

You need any 500 unit construction twin dating from around 1961 'ish through 1976 'ish.

    wouldnt that be interesting tho.

i have toyed with going the other way and dropping a 60s bonneville power unit into a 90s or 00s kawasaki ninja 250 frame. a guy i know did something similar with a 60s BSA A65 he modified for 880cc. about 85 hp, iirc.

he used a 90s suzuki rgv 250 chassis, mostly unobtainable in the states
