Hello all, I am starting a rebuild of a total basket case 1956 6T Thunderbird. It has been in my garage for years in different boxes along with a 1960 6T (dual downtube). So, still scratching around for all the bits but I guess I will start with engine and gearbox. Planning to rebore, new bearings, main, big and small end etc. has anyone had any good service from a spare parts dealer for this era bike? I am in South Africa but importing is not a big issue - stock, service and price would be more important. Thanks for any advice or recommendations. i will post some pics as soon as I am a bit more organised.
