Not down that way very often, especially at this time of year. But I'll be straight to the point and say - the first person to see this bike will buy it.
@MrOrange forget the America Ron and get this one just up the road from you and it's the right colourit will be a much better bet for a big lad like you even more so if your'e taking a pillion
Thanks @Dougie D , Actually less room on the Thunderbird !!! Went to look at one , my balls were jammed upto the tank with the missus on pillion! And that was the LT version. Bigger bike, but less room for passengers, was vey dissapointed, thought the LT was the bike for me. Was in the same dealers as Tuono, ended up buying the Tuono instead Hopefully pick up another America later on in the year.
That's surprising, you would have thought it would be the opposite , what with the extra grunt of the Thunderbird it would be ideal for touring with a pillion but if there's no room then that's not good
Where's the 'Feck Off ya cheeky twat ' emoticon when you need it ????? No seriously, the poor wee buggers were properly mashed up to the tanks!
I would assume the weekend is best for you. I may be available other times. Let me know what suits you and ill get back to you
Retired but funnily enough weekends are usually the busiest. It’s around 3 hours to you but we have some friends in Canonbie so could combine the trip. So a midweek daytime visit would probably be the best. Cheers
