Today I had an appointment for the 16.000 km maintenance of my Rocket 3 R Storm. Therefore I started an early ride at 0630 to ride the 100 kilometres to my dealer. The weather was really great, only the temperatures were a bit chilly. I started at 17 degrees celsius at home and ended at my dealer at 10 degrees.
At the dealer I took a test bike for a test ride during the maintenance of my Rocket. This time I tried a Kawasaki Versys 1100. It was nice to ride a 4-cylinder engine, but it needs lots of rpm.

    My Rocket received:
    • Oil filter
    • Air filter
    • 5,1 litres of oil
    • Brake fluid
    • And some small.parts
The mechanic also checked the steering head. After 4 hours and a short check ride by the mechanic everything was done.
I payed €440.- including only the official time of the 16.000 km maintenance. In my opinion it was a bargain again! ;)
I also used my time after the test ride to walk through the store of my dealer. Sadly I have no additional space in my garage left at home!
With lots of impressions I rode afterwards the 100 kilometres back home.

This is the hall for used bikes. Some new ones are still packed in big boxes in the back.
