    Hi All,

Ive just put my fully charged battery back on my Explorer after its been laid up for 5 months (in the heat here, bone dry, no damp at all).

Gave it a good wash and it starts first time.

Went out on it and it feels like its running on 2 cylinders only.

Lumpy when running, and stalls when I stop.

Starts first time when I try it.

    Advice please,

    Thank in advance

Put some fuel additive in it?
    Possibly a blocked injector.

Thanks, it was brimmed with fuel when I laid it up, I'll change the fuel, and add some cleaner, hopefully that will sort it

Your tank isn’t sealed like a fuel can. It needs to be able to equalise pressure so you will lose the most volatile fuel elements through evaporation while the injectors may have dried to the point where one is gummed.
Persevere, it should clear and clean itself up with additive. Failing that you may need an aerosol cleaner.

Thanks, il try that first, the bikes only done 4km, so I'm not thinking it is a mechanical fault

If you can get a good squirt of cleaner/additive in the fuel rail at start up, so much the better.

There are 2 reasons why it won't fire.
    1/ Lack of spark.
    2/ Lack of fuel.
If the fuel cleaners don't work, try taking the plugs out and seeing if they all work. (Easiest to test and replace first.) If they work then the injectors will need attention.
