Doesn't it come with the comfort seat fitted as standard on the RS model ? I must admit, mine took a while to "bed in" !

You are correct matey, comfort seat standard for rider.... pillion is like sitting on a park bench according to my lass! she absolutely hates it.
I don’t know if this is any help, I fitted the comfort seat on my Thruxton. Yes it’s better than standard but I still want to get off after 40 miles or riding
Give it some time to bed in (the seat not your arse),I bought the comfort seat last year for my 2015 bike prior to my Spain trip and thought I’d wasted my money cos I couldn’t feel any difference but now it’s all day comfy.
Strange that I find this uncomfortable as my previous ride was a 675R Daytona. I could ride a couple of hundred miles without pain, don’t know if your weight wasn’t on the seat on that
