Featured 100th Bomb Group Memorial Museum

Well after seeing Masters of the Air last year I decided to take a ride over to Norfolk and take a look at the actual base that these brave airman ( Along with all the other brave airman ) took off from.

It was a nice ride there and back, I think I did about 200 miles round trip.

These jackets are original, and were donated to the museum by the relatives.

The original runway went from left to right in the picture, and about 10% still exists today. It had 3 runways.

@Bikerman Great story fantastic pictures. You know i really should open my eyes and look for these places.
