It's now less than 24 hours until I pick up my new street triple R from triumph Aberdeen. It's been a long 2 weeks since I ordered it and I can imagine tonight I will be like a kid at Christmas eve. For the last fortnight I've been looking at this forum but felt like I was cheating on the Suzuki forum all that guilt will disappear tomorrow. Weather has been a bit mixed recently, so let's hope for a good day tomorrow and no wind, I'm a bit nervous seeing as though I only test drive the bike for a short ride, but hopefully once I've got out of Aberdeen and heading home I will get used to the bike quickly, and got a free upshifter so that will be different for me. Looking forward to being an official triumph forum member tomorrow instead of being an imposter ha ha
That new bike feeling is brilliant Oz, have fun, stay safe and of course put up a pic once you have your new steed
I just got home about an hour ago. Absolutely love the bike, an absolute joy to ride home. I've tried to upload a few pictures but hasn't worked. I think tomorrow after work I will try and post them but on the laptop rather than my phone
HI Oz and Welcome to the Forum, great bike , they're not prejudiced on here mate, they still let me contribute & I don't have a Triumph any more!
I managed to get finished today at 2, and was straight out on it. Might go back out on it after dinner. Weather is amazing today and same tomorrow apparently. I've stupidly put down for overtime for the next two weekends so best make the most of tonight and tomorrow
Does anyone know the best way to remove the reflectors from the front suspension forks? They completely look out of place and I think spoil the look of the bike
