Took my 06 speed triple for a long ride through the twisties of north Georgia mountains. Had a blast, but have a question does the rear brake on these normally take a good bit of pressure to get any stopping power? Has new pads and has been bled, just never had a bike with such a non-responsive rear brake. With the same pressure I use to slow the bike lightly I could lock up my 88 vmax rear brake My front calipers have already been swapped to the GSXR by the previous owner and work great.
Totally normal, rear brake on your bike is more for bringing the front wheel down than slowing the bike
Very typical. I like the fact that I can't lock it up, and I basically only use it for trail braking in the twisties.
