to copy "last film you watched" thread, I'm watching "The Man In The High Castle" series 2 Series 1 got me hooked but 2 has me line and sinker.
I am watching "Breaking Bad" on Netflix, on series 3 at the moment. I have watched "The Man in the High Castle" both series and it does pull you in and gives food for thought.
Stick with it. I nearly gave up after the fourth as it seemed to be going nowhere, but persevered and was well delighted. The acting and production values are top notch, and the story line pretty damn well good. A few 'twists' you kinda guess before they are revealed, but quite a few surprises too.
That's my point, it is a slow builder and well worth the effort going past the first four episodes. It's like a long read, you have to invest some time in it for it to pay off, which it does imo.
Breaking Bad has to be one of the best series ever. Walking Dead but got bored. Also watched Sons of Anarchy - starts reasonably well but for me just degenerates into a pointless , ever increasing cycle of mindless violence that became a joke. House of cards with Kevin Spacey - my favourite so far. Just starting Man in the High Castle
Elementary, Flash, Arrow and Young Pope is excellent (think house of cards in the vatican) of the American ones currently, Brits - No Offence has just started back, love that. Also the European ones - The Killing, The Bridge, those are the best series I have watched (read) in the last couple of years. Like lots of those Swedish Noir series, easily the best written thrillers over last few years. Couldn't get on with High Castle or Game of thrones or breaking bad, I must be the odd one !!!
Was enjoying Westworld until it turned into Television X on the 5th episode ?????? Someone posted wait till after the 4th episode makes sense ???? I am even more confused what this series is about !!!!! The gold painted orgy is not something I ever saw in a John Wayne picture !!!
