Hi Everyone I have been given a decent price on a brand new Triumph Low Seat for my 2011 Speed triple. I'm 5'6 with 29" inseam. Currently I'm running on std seat n I am on tip toes. When I slide a little, I can flat foot one side. Do we have anyone using Triumph Low Seat and if yes.....Do they make a difference? Thanking you all kindly
try a lowering link then drop the forks and maintain the comfort! i've done that to my 13 speed and its fine
Will lowering cause any issues with cornering clearance. I do drag pegs every now n then I'm not experiencing any problems tippie toeing in traffic n moving the bike about parking lots. It certainly would be nice to get more purchase on the ground
I had one on my first, it made a bit of a difference but not much and it isn't as comfortable for all day runs. I kept it when I sold that one and got my current speedy but don't use it.
On my Tiger I dropped the forks through the triple trees about 10mm and it made all the difference, in terms of planting my feet and feeling secure. No negative effects on ground clearance or steering.
I have fitted a rear lowering kit to a friends bike and dropped the legs through the yokes, does not affect the handling in any way for road use
lowering link is fine-had mine for 3+years and not had any dramas. bike sits a bit more vertical on side stand but not had a drama with that either. If you are short in leg you need one of these!
