image.jpg image.jpg Hi guys , I pick up my new old 95 Triumph Thunderbird 900 on Tuesday next week , had a Honda 125 twin in my late teens then didn't have a bike again till in my thirties . Since then I've had a handful of older some would say 'classic machines' . To be honest I haven't done a great deal of riding due to work and weather up here , I don't enjoy riding in the wet or really cold winter days , I can still remember clearly one time on my Honda twin I couldn't stop my teeth chattering one time I thought i would brave freezing cold December day.always wanted a triumph and hoping this could be the bike to make me want to ride more often and get some miles and experience under my belt . Just ignore the small chap from Hitlerland.

Oh, and welcome to the Trump Forum, sorry Triumph Forum, just with the institutional racism going on, I thought he had taken over this as well !!!! ;):D:D:D

p.s. - Not wanting to start a political argument on this guys welcome page, but don't believe the shite turned out by Murdoch, Desmond and co - I have a new hospital owned by the NHS Scotland and a new school being built by proper money, not PPP and my daughter going off to train to be a nurse whilst getting grants, also funded by Scottish public funds - the SNP and Nicola are a real bad lot aren't they !!!! Make your own minds up by first hand evidence and facts, not the shite in tory supporting, fascist, racist arse wipe newspapers.

p.p.s - couldn't decide wether to delete the above and just move on with life, or to post and be damned.

    p.p.p.s - post and be damned:D

p.p.p.p.s - If you wish to reply, please start a new thread - Why we should hate the Scots for wanting a better deal.;)

Hello guys sorry for the late reply, my laptop is kaput and I've been using an old iPad of my daughter's which was acting up when I tried to post last night , so using my phone now but had password trouble
Anyways thanks for all the welcomes . Dougie d I'm in Gourock on the west coast. You probably know it as a lot of bikers grt the ferry to Dunoon from here during the summer.
I did have a giggle about the nicolaland reference and wondered about the present situation with two women running the show here with nicolaland and theresaland and a big girls blouse in charge of the most powerful country in the world , is it time to panic . At least when we give our wives the illusion they are in charge as long as they leave us to get on with our hobbies, we can rein them in when they get out of control , just getting behind the couch now!

I know it well, my parents are in Dunoon, so often use the crossing.
Best day's on a bike include a wee trip on a ferry.
