No it was definately they didn't think a couple Of TV stars could do it. One of KTM's advisors said that pair didn't have a hope in hell of doing it. They just said it a bit more politely But back OT looking good on the restoration. Excellant stuff so far.
Looking good spanner. Reminds me of the days gone past when I used to tinker around with bikes. Had a doner bike of a Suzuki GS400 twin (cost me £35) that I made into a hard tail chop... Will see if I can find the pics (old school photograph pics!!) Keep up the good work and keep posting the updates... Looking forward to seeing it finished
Few more bits going together, mocked up the swingarm ,shock and frame, headstock bearings in , new bolts to go in
Looks like you have a tough job good luck with the rebuild , I'm doing a cbr600fm at present (pictures on this site)putting it all back together now and had the engine running at the weekend going to come to a standstill for a while ,as I have an extention on my house commencing on the 15th Aug so I'm going to be doing other things
Hi Clarkey, yes its going to be a bit the same with me, just put the engine in and when i get the loom and electrics done its going to be autumn , to cold then to respray, need that warmth for a good finish, but thats what i had planned anyway
