well I decided to try JB Weld Tank Weld. A sort of epoxy resin for fuel tanks. It seems to have done the job. I’ve had a short 35 mile run out this morning and all seems to as it should be. Even the gorse is coming into flower.
    Hope it stays fixed.

Took my Fireblade for its MOT this morning (and Helmut took his Tuono for the same). It passed with the usual advisory (noisy exhaust) o_O. Then we went to try the new Route 44 Diner in Kington and came back home again. Only about a 50 mile run in very mixed weather of wind, sun, rain and hail at various times but still a nice blip out!

Today is my last rest day before I go back to work tomorrow. I took the Fireblade out on a nice run to the Baffle Haus and then Ty Morgan's, Rhayader, where I had a lovely healthy custard slice for my lunch :p. I actually managed to avoid being rained on, for once, although it was a little chilly up high in the hills. It was a lovely few hours out, although my fuel warning light was on for an uncomfortably long time before I got to the petrol station which always gives me a bit of anxiety o_O.

Came up with a pannier solution for the R9T...

Not a bad result, given that I already owned the bags. Just had to pop the brackets on.

Have you thought about carrying one of these Mrs V? I’ve carried one when out on the dirt bike for ages now but also started carrying one on the road bikes when the Russia/Ukraine conflict kicked off and led to panic buying and empty pumps. Looks like we could be heading there again unfortunately.
I have 1.5 & a 1L versions which either fit in a small back pack or strap to a rack or pillion seat.

That looks useful, I could have filled up at Crossgates, but the price was so outrageous I decided to make it back to Hereford, so entirely my own fault!

Treated myself to a transitions visor too with the saving off the full helmet price, it's fantastic.

The ride was last year, but an article about the Highland trip I did with my brother is in Motorcycle Sport and Leisure magazine…. my copy arrived today!

    Page one as a taster!
