    Hi folks,

I treated myself to a little fun runabout 400x scrambler last year for work. I added an Evotech tail tidy as ya do...only to find that because of the repositioning of the indicators i could not fit a side saddlebag (SW Motech legend gear). has anyone else had this issue and any recommendations for other brands or will the Triumph one fit?

    cheers
    Cordyk

Good morning all. I’m a new forum member. I’ve just taken delivery of a 400xc, a stablemate for my T120.
With the usual excitement of a new bike on the way, I bought an evotech tail tidy and sw-motech SLC carriers so that I can switch my Legend panniers between the bikes. As Cordyk has discovered, the tail tidy brings the indicators just a little too far forward so the side carriers won’t fit.
Cordyk, did you find a solution?
The indicators need to either go backwards an inch or so, or I could replace with smaller ones so that they don’t stick out as much.
    Hoping someone can help

    cheers
    David

Hi David, no fella, in answer to,your question :(
You are the first one to reply to my original question everyone just said "hi"...which was nice but didn't help .

I have struggled to find owt yet and i do not really want to have to messs about moving or changing the indicators. I may look at some soft bag option to sling over?
    cheers

Thanks. I came to the same conclusion. I’ve taken the tail tidy off and fitted the sw-Motech carriers as I need the luggage. I started down the rabbit hole of putting smaller indicators on, but people seem to have problems with some aftermarket indicators not working with the ecu. Someone will come up with a solution eventually. Cheers. David

If you put your question in the Scrambler section you may get a more targeted response as those welcoming you to the forum may well not have any experience of that style of bike.
