Hi Everyone! I just picked up a brand new (24 miles old) 2025 660 for my next track / race build over here in the US of A. I'm British & moved over here 3 years ago to the Chicago area. I used to race the SV650 in the UK on the Minitwins grid, and last year I raced my R7 over here. I got the 660 because I was looking for a new project, it was nearly $2k off list price, and I like the fact its a British brand that I can try to stuff up some of the locals with Also because I love the lightweight sector of the track / race community and hope to shine a light on what the 660 can do on track as its now allowed in the class here too. I've had the bike about 5 days and its already in a few pieces. As always I document nearly everything on YT, so if you fancy you can follow along too. https://www.youtube.com/user/mikeyjaxxx You may see me asking some random questions here and there as I get to grips with it! Thanks!
Welcome, I for one look forward to your posts plus we have some knowledgeable people on here so fire away with any questions.
MJax92 Welcome to the family. Nice bike. Should do the job for you. My Son races the 765 and loves it alough he has not been on track for over a year now for which i am glad.
Hi everyone and thanks for the welcome. The weather here is so cold I cant bear to work in the garage for very long, but trust me, progressing as best I can, waiting on a couple of bits to go keyless (kinda - Immobiliser will still be in play) ignition.
Welcome Mjax92, it's good to see another Daytona 660 owner on the forum! If you check out the various sections you'll find there's one specifically for the Daytona is all its many guises. And within this Daytona section you will also see a thread for the current Daytona 660. It might make sense to stick any future posts there so they're easier to find. As a Daytona 660 owner I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with yours.
Greetings again to all the members of Triumph I am proud I love daytona's 660 that I am fully fanatic of all models of the brand. A bunch of guys started by attacking me on a comment in which the things I mentioned were true, and then those brain-dead idiots jumped in to make negative comments in order to cause trouble for the company (Of course, this isn’t real—it’s all in their imagination, and they’re trying to create a problem where there isn’t one.) my nickname in that comment is also @Sarantgr and the bully guys that bother me at my main comment is 2 guys with nicknames : @PhrozenPhlanges but that troller is a keyboard warrior nicknamed : @Mean_but_sweet thank you and I hope you to support me and report them in YouTube thank you so much for your understanding!
Not sure I understand the context of your post within this introduction post from a new member @MJax92 ?
Thank you for your response Wessa and nice to meet you here in Triumphs Country that admire with passion! They’re trolls with fake accounts; they’re by no means fans of the Triumph brand, unlike us die-hard fans who have an endless passion for our brand! @Mean_but_sweet He’s lying about owning a motorcycle—it’s absolutely clear that he’s trying to sabotage my main comment. I earnestly urge you all to report these despicable scammers! Being here with you, I feel safe and secure. Thank you all again for such a warm welcome.
Perhaps, but the man is utterly psychotic and fixated on swaying prospective riders' perceptions of the new Daytona 660, which is said to have stayed unchanged in every way.
