Just 25 Days To Go.....

I remember filling the car up at a local station a couple of years back, nozzle in the filler, holding the trigger and just casually looking round. There was a white car on the other side of the pump and I suddenly realised, hang on, that’s a Tesla!! As I’m looking round for the owner a guy came out of the kiosk carrying a fuel can and before I could say anything he said with a smile, “it’s for my lawn mower”.

 

I came out from paying for petrol some time ago and there was a guy filling up his BMW 1200 whatever atthe pump in front of me, as I passed I casually said 'I know they're nicknamed tractors but I didn't realise they were making diesel versions!' I was still laughing 10 miles down the road at the look of panic on his face before he realised I was joking.
I recommend trying it sometime, certainly lifts your spirits

First ride of 2026, sometimes you just need a MCD's!

 

We've had a rougher than usual winter over on this side of the pond, and it's not over yet. I got out the other day when it got up to 55 F. The roads are atrocious! I spent more time scouting for/dodging potholes than enjoying the ride.
