    Hey everybody,

few weeks ago, I read about problems with the Marzocchi front fork of the new Triumph Speed Twin 900 (2025) for the first time in a YouTube comment. It sounds rattling or banging on uneven roads. At slow speeds, this can also be clearly heard and felt in the handlebars.

I am now actually affected by this and it has increased within the first 1k km. I also reported this to the dealer at the 1k km inspection. However, he only said that it was the same with his demo bike and that's the way it is.
But I'm not happy with that. I suspect that there is actually a problem with the product.

I also discussed this in a German forum and there are actually other owners of this type of bike with the same problem.

Today I have also written directly to Triumph by e-mail and am waiting to hear back.
Now I would just like to know if there are any other owners here who are also experiencing this problem.

    kind regards

    Disto

Over 1300 miles on the clock and no such issues with my Speed Twin. Let's hope it stays that way !

    @DistoSXF:
This sounds not normal. There should be an reaction from Triumph. I am disappointed with the reaction of your dealer!

Just logged into Triumph Technical Information to check if there was any information on this reported front suspension issue. Nothing, although there is a recent Technical Bulletin 252 which is for an ABS Calibration Update. This is to be done at your next dealer service or book an appointment to have it done. Obviously not urgent but I suppose at some point I need to make an appointment as I don't allow dealer servicing. I hate appointments!

@DistoSXF Welcome to the family. Can't help. But if it was my bike i would be handing it back and saying fix it or refund me. You don't buy a new bike to have these problems.

This is interesting. Is this Marzocchi front fork set up a new thing on the ST900? I've got the 2017 Street Twin, which hasn't got the Italian forks. When did the Marzocchi kit appear?

    Hello everyone,
actually I have the same problem with rattling front suspension. Any developments on this front? My dealer in Belgium, checked the bike and told me it was the first model ever they have this problem with, however the official statement of the HQ is that it is all normal characteristics. I've just written to Triumph directly, but I don't hope for much at this stage.
Found this screen on facebook and asked my dealer to locate the undersigned Freddy who could maybe shed some light on how they intend to handle the issue if at all.
If anyone had any success with solving this story, I'd be glad that you share your experience.

Coming up to 3000 miles on the clock and no such issues with the front suspension. All good.

thanks for sharing! in the meantime I was contacted by my dealer who brought a good news and confirmed that the message I found (pasted earlier) was genuine. that’s what they have said:
“Triumph has accepted to let us replace your inner works of the left front fork.
This is a new part that should arrive at the beginning of November. This is earlier then the recall.
Seems that the communication you found was correct.”
I can only wait for November now :)

    Hello Michal,
I purchased almost a month ago from Brussels a Speed Twin 900 with the same issue. I have an appointment with Triumph to check it and work on it.

Where in Belgium have you purchased yours ?

    Thanx and cheers
    Konstantinos

    Hello Michal,
Do you have any news about the update of your bike in Zaventem ? I havent seen so far any reaction from TRIUMPH about the issue.

    Cheers
    Konstantinos

    Hi Konstantinos,
I got the fork replaced in the end of December. If i remember well there was a faulty insert on the left side. In anyway, the change of the fork made miracle. No noise whatsoever! Has really changed the riding experience.
Good luck with your bike, hope it will get repaired soon.
