Looking For Advice On Marc Márquez Leather Motorcycle Jackets

Having just looked at your profile page I see that you have many riding years in front of you. Likewise any good quality leather jacket will, if properly treated, last for many years. I still have my first Lewis Leathers jacket bought over 55 years ago, still in good condition but no armour so purely casual use now.

When you are wearing a jacket personalised to a current personality some ten years down the road the question you will get asked is WHO? So be prepared for the jacket to go out of fashion. On the other hand a jacket branded to a make of motorcycle stands a far better chance of weathering the test of time.

I have a Ducati branded riding jacket that is 20 years old and still “current”. I also have a fleece jacket in my wardrobe branded to a very well known Ducati racer of the day that I haven’t worn for maybe ten years. I may just wear it for gardening but not otherwise. I trust that you understand the point I’m trying to make?

 

@carlosadar Like @Baza is saying pretty much all good jackets are acceptable now. But if it is something you like then go for it.

 

Not exactly what I said but their life span is measured in decades but you must be prepared for them to date and become somewhat cringe worthy.
