One of the super things about meeting Sandi and Steve was that I got to meet the very lovely Ellie, their boxer dog. She liked me too as much as I liked her and I was licked to death every time I went to their house.

Last day and heading back to Phoenix to drop the car off. I first had to fill it with petrol. This was quite confusing as there were 2 pumps nozzles. A green one and a black one. But which was which.
I had to ask a lady just pulling up to the pump. Apparently the black nozzle is petrol and the green is the diesel. Good job I asked.

I had a nice breakfast at the airport in Phoenix. This was a big piece of chicken in a bun (which they called a biscuit) with little potatoes pieces bacon.

 

Heading back to the wintry Minneapolis with frozen lakes.

 

Then getting close to home. Nice sunrise out of the window.

 

I was only in the US for one week. But what a week. Sandi and Steve (and Ellie) were awesome, knowledgeable and fantastic company. I saw a lot, got to experience American hospitality, and ate amazing Mexican food.

 

Thank you Steve. I had a blast there.

 

Good point there Sandi. Yes in the shops they can be that expensive. When I’m next across, there hopefully later this year, I’ll make sure to buy one.
