Insurance Bonneville Vs Speed Twin

    Interestingly, using confused.com my best quote for a T120 is half that for a Speed Twin of the same value, year and mileage.
    Anyone else found this?

    That’s just how their algorithm works. Speed Twin probably gets lumped in with more "sporty" or higher-risk categories in their data, even if it’s the same value. The T120 is seen as a pure old-man cruiser, so statistically safer and cheaper to insure. Happens all the time.

    A few important factors for UK-based insurance brokers are the theft of machines, the Speed Twin is more susceptible to being stolen, and a higher risk of being involved in accidents as opposed to the Bonneville T120.
