Buying my 1st Triumph today. It's a used (2300 miles) Speed Twin 900.
What should I know.... be wary of? .... some say front brake not amazing. Anything else?

For the bike the brakes are good enough. Pads make a great difference. Its a nice reliable machine. You will find out yourself. Just take it easy till you and the machine gel,

    Good choice.
You’re right about the front brake. It’s adequate but lacks bite. If you’re used to sharp modern brakes, it’ll feel a bit wooden at first. Easy upgrade down the line if it bothers you.
Otherwise, they’re solid. At 2,300 miles it’s barely run in. Just check the usual: service history (even if just the first one), chain condition, and make sure there’s no weird clutch slip when you test ride.
Other than that, just enjoy it. Great first Triumph.
