    Supertechs,

I want to change out the gauges on my 2024 Speed Twin 1200 to a more compact single unit rather than the separate speedo and tach. The 2025 speed twins (1200 and 900) both appear to use the same electrical connector as do late model ST 400s. I'm wondering if any supertechs out there know if any of these, or any other model with a single gauge setup can be swapped with my 2024 ST 1200 gauges and work properly?

    Thanks for your time!

@Evan Not sure but wish you luck in your endeavour. Maybe ask around at the dealers.

Hi Joe, yes, I will ask a tech when I have occasion to go by the nearest dealer, but they are a bit of a drive away. I was hoping that, on the outside chance, someone in in the forum might have tried some kind of similar instrument swap. Thanks for your reply!

@Evan Yes but can't you mail a dealer just to get the ball rolling.

So you're talking about swopping your twin clock set up for the Triumph single unit as found on many Triumphs from around 2016 onwards?
That's the first time I've heard of someone wanting the to go from 2 clocks to the single unit. I like the single clock on my Street Twin but quite a few people wished it came with twin clocks.

I've talked to a few custom bike builders at the Bike Shed show in London about the modified clocks on their Triumph builds and almost invariably they said it was a tricky job, almost as if Triumph had built in a system to deliberately make it difficult.

Incidentally, if Triumph dealers in the US are anything like those here in the UK then I would be very surprised if you get any helpful info on doing a swop.
I have asked similar questions during my ownership and they NEVER give a straight answer. But maybe you'll be lucky.

@Evan - Welcome to the forum. I sincerely hope you find assistance with what you're looking for.
I am heaving a dreadful exp with Triumph dealer (working with tech from Trumph USA and UK) in NC for the last 3 months and they can't get to figure out electrical problem with my 2023 Speedmaster.
And that is on a bone stock bike. Look up my original posts on 2023 engine not stopping, maybe you could point me to something.

I'f you're handy with it or have trusted mechanics, go for it. If not, I would be very skeptical relying on dealer tech assistance in the US.
